Setting up over here for now whilst I decide how I want to shelve my books online.
The Kissing Club - Julia Clarke This book was pretty good, I would definitely recommend it to teenage girls as an average read (not easy, not challenging). I liked Emily as a character and could imagine myself in her shoes. Not too much happens in this book but it definitely isn't boring.
The Perfect Treat: Heart-warming Short Stories for Winter Nights - Claudia Carroll, Julia Williams, Miranda Dickinson, Liz Trenow, Mhairi McFarlane I enjoyed these stories a lot, perfect for a spare 10 minutes. I didn't realise when I bought it that it also containted beginning chapters from the author's current books too, but I didn't really mind this and it added a lot of new titles to my to-read list!

The editing was far less than perfect though, and was the main thing that annoyed me. But other than that, the stories were quick, easy reads meant to make you smile and escape.
Tinseltown - Victoria Fox This was...ok. Lacking a bit in the plot but it was an easy short story to read. I've read better but I've also read a lot worse. I have her novel Hollyowood Sinners on my Kindle waiting so I'm hoping that will be more interesting!
Fifty Shades of Grey - E.L. James This book really surprised me. I was deliberating between 3 and 4 stars, because I was drawn to it but equally so much of it annoyed me. I know a lot of people hated it and a lot of people loved it but I'm kind of on the fence! I actually liked the ending whereas I know many people found it jarring and out of the blue, but I thought it was pretty realistic. I've already noted in my progress comments how irritating I found Ana but by the end I found this irritation had diminished slightly. Overall...I'm just not sure what I thought I guess. Also, the sex was so much tamer than I was expecting! Can this really be classed as a novel about BDSM?! I don't think so haha.
The Love Letter - Fiona Walker This was such a long book for the actual storyline! Some things really didn't need to be in there, and I didn't think they added much to the plot. At times it was so frustrating, mainly the main character Legs. I just didn't really connect with her. Found her childish, immature and whiny and there were so many times for her to fix things and she just didn't. However, I feel everything worked out well in the end, it just took a lot of time and energy getting there!
Blindsighted - Karin Slaughter Amazing!
